Privacy Policy
Principal Harbor LLC ("Principal Harbor", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect on this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Effective date: June 16, 2026
Who we are
Principal Harbor LLC is a marketing and software agency based in Denver, Colorado, United States. This policy applies to principalharbor.com and the forms and pages hosted on it. It does not cover the separate client websites and systems we build and operate, which are governed by those clients' own privacy policies.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you complete the free site analysis or "Book a Demo" flow, or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide. Depending on the step, this can include:
- Your name, work email address, and phone number
- Your company name, your role, and company size
- Your website URL and details about your business, goals, and current performance that you enter in the optional context fields
- If you grant it, read-only access to your Google Search Console property so a consultant can review your search performance. We do not modify your account, and you can revoke this access at any time from your Google account.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect limited technical and usage information, including:
- Pages viewed, links clicked, referring source, and general usage patterns, through privacy-friendly website analytics
- Device and browser type, screen size, and approximate, city-level location derived from your IP address
- A first-party cookie that records how you first arrived at the site (for example, the referring source or campaign), so we can understand which channels bring visitors to us
- Standard server logs, which may include your IP address, kept for security and troubleshooting
Our analytics are configured to avoid building advertising profiles of you across other websites.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule and deliver a consultation or demo, and prepare a tailored analysis or quote
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website and our services
- To understand how visitors find and use the site, in aggregate, so we can improve our content and offers
- To communicate with you about your request and, where you have asked us to, about our services
- To comply with our legal obligations and to protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of first-party cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and for the privacy-friendly analytics and attribution described above. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may not function as intended if you do. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar opt-out signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or targeted advertising, neither of which we currently do.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors who process data on our behalf and under contract, such as our website hosting and analytics, our scheduling provider for booking calls, and our email and customer-relationship tools. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Principal Harbor, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, to maintain our business records, and to comply with our legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. Under the Colorado Privacy Act, Colorado residents have the right to:
- Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access that data
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
- Delete personal data we hold about you
- Obtain a portable copy of the personal data you provided to us
- Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. As noted, we do not sell personal data or conduct targeted advertising or such profiling.
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will verify your request, which may require confirming details we already hold, and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
If we decline your request, you may appeal that decision by replying to our response or emailing [email protected] with "Appeal" in the subject line. If you have concerns about the outcome of an appeal, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
Where we operate
We are based in the United States and process information here. If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed in the United States.
